Gilbert Gerard (1760–1815), Scottish theological writer ; son of Alexander Gerard (1728–1795); minister of Scots church, Amsterdam; professor of Greek at King's College, Aberdeen, 1791, of divinity, 1795; Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, 1803.[1]
